Waldorf Main Lesson Teacher - Full Time
Waldorf Academy is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Lower Elementary Main Lesson Teacher to join our vibrant community. Grade 3 is a pivotal year for students, focusing on themes of self-awareness, independence, and practical skills. As the Main Lesson Teacher, you will guide students through this transformative year with engaging and meaningful lessons that integrate academic, artistic, and experiential learning. Waldorf Academy seeks a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Kindergarten Assistant to join our vibrant Early Childhood faculty. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in nurturing
a calm, rhythmical environment grounded in Waldorf principles and contribute to a strong

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (required). Waldorf Teacher Training Certification or significant progress toward certification (preferred). Bachelor of Education member of the OCT (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience teaching in a Waldorf school or familiarity with Waldorf education. Experience teaching elementary-aged children is highly desirable.
Skills and Attributes:
• Strong understanding of child development, particularly the nine-year change.
• Ability to engage students through storytelling, artistic expression, and experiential learning.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Clear and compassionate communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
