Tuition 

Waldorf Academy offers a top-quality academic experience at very competitive fees. We strive to manage our resources carefully while ensuring our students receive the full benefit of the Waldorf program.

Fees

Annual Adjustment: Fees are subject to an annual adjustment as set by the Board of Directors for the student contract (June 1 to May 31).

KG to Grade 8: Application Fee: $150: A non-refundable fee payable upon submission of a formal application

KG to Grade 8: Registration Fee: $3,000: In addition to the tuition fees, please note that all families are required to pay a one-time registration fee. Please see details on fee amounts below.

 

Additional Programs

Before Care: is included both in Kindergarten and Grade School Fees: 8:00am-8:30am.

After Care:

For Kindergarten: after care is included in the extended program; please refer to the fee schedule for details or contact admissions@waldorfacademy.org

Grades 1 – 8there is no drop-in aftercare for the 2023-2024 school year. Instead we offer year-round aftercare registration. Parents can register for grade school after care during the summer. Please contact admissions@waldorfacademy.org for more information. Limited spaces!

Summer Camp

Junior Camp: Age 4-6

Payment: Options & Obligations

Payment Options: We offer a range of payment options from which to choose. Please email our Bursar to discuss which is best for you: bursar@waldorfacademy.org

First Year Contract for new students: In the event the school declines a child within the first six-week conditional period, parents are responsible for a pro-rated tuition fee for the duration of the student’s attendance. Thereafter, parents are responsible for tuition for the remainder of the academic year.

Perpetual Contract for continuing students: In the event a child withdraws on or after June 1 for the following academic year,  parents are responsible for the full tuition of the academic year. The school reserves the right to ask for the withdrawal of a child as per conditions outlined in the contract, in which case tuition fees will be reimbursed on a pro-rated basis.

Tax Receipts

In addition to receipts for donations to the school, the school issues child care receipts by the end of February that can be used for income tax purposes. The amount and availability of these receipts vary by age, grade and tax year, and are issued for the period of time that is supervised and non-academic.
