Sydney is a community worker, educator, social justice advocate, and mother of three. She received a Community Worker diploma from George Brown College in 2003 and this training continues to inform her work. In 2013, she received a Bachelor of Education from York University with a specialization in teaching English. Sydney believes stories have the ability to transform and inspire and that, as Thomas King says, “The truth about stories, is that’s all we are.” This love of storytelling is what first drew Sydney to Waldorf. She has been a Class Teacher Assistant at Waldorf Academy and has taught Middle School, teaching Language Arts, Health, Cyber Civics and Practical Arts.  Sydney also coordinates the Nature and Outdoor Program.
