Clara Hilts has been teaching at Waldorf Academy since 2012. After completing her Music Composition degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, Clara spent a few years working as an intern on organic farms through the WWOOF Program (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). Ms. Hilts taught privately for several years before stepping into the classroom. She also ran a Musical Theatre class for young people and started her own choir in her hometown of Peterborough, ON.

Shortly after moving to Toronto, Clara was introduced to Waldorf Education and sent to New Hampshire for her first summer intensive. Ms. Hilts has taught music to grades one through eight and was a Middle School class teacher for two years. This year, she is thrilled to not only be holding Gr. 2-8 Music, but has stepped into the role of Middle School Art teacher.
