After graduating from the University of Toronto with degrees in Fine Art History and English Literature, Melody became an established arts administrator, manager, and event coordinator, producing large scale events in such venues as the Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts, Harbourfront Centre, BMO Field, Ryerson Theatre, CNE, Toronto Pearson Airport, and the Metro Convention Centre. Supporting world-renowned organizations; the Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company,  and Africa’s Children-Africa’s Future, including 5-day long festivals for the Arabesque Dance Company & Orchestra, Fashion Art Toronto (FAT), and Toronto Fashion Week, Melody has made her passion for arts and education her career.

In her role as Office Manager at Waldorf Academy, Melody facilitates daily operations, programs, and guidance, serving to advance the health and safety of the school. As a founding member of the school’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, she strives to move the community forward by establishing a more inclusive curriculum and environment for everyone, including hosting a discussion about racism with author and activist, Desmond Cole. Melody is delighted to aid in fostering the holistic and artistic approach of Waldorf education with our students.
