The days are action-packed and creativity-filled. Families play an active role in the school and many special community events round out an enriching school year. Come find out how life at Waldorf Academy can work for you and your child.
The Outdoor Classroom strand of the SCOPE program aims to develop students’ connections to the local natural environment through monthly half-day excursions into the city’s ravine system co-led by Waldorf Academy’s environmental education partner, The Pine Project. These monthly half-day excursions complement and deepen the annual overnight excursions and provide a year-round experience of and connection to the local natural environment. They also provide students with an
experience of the natural environment as it exists within the urban setting. The school-year long program plan allows students to observe nature through the seasons.
Please join host and faculty teacher, Amyann Faul and speaker, Andrew McMartin, the founder of p.i.n.e. to learn more about the students experience.
Our popular Summer Camp Program (last year was SOLD OUT) offers 9 weeks of themed programming.
