How to Apply

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2012-2013

Our application process requires an interview and a 3-day class visit in addition to the completed application form and supporting documents. Re-enrollment contracts are sent out the end of January and are due back mid-February. To avoid a waiting list for Grade One we advise that you enter the admissions process by mid-fall.

Please note that our age requirements differ from the public school system.  All applicants to Grade One need to turn 6 prior to August 31 and will need to complete an assessment to determine appropriate placement.

Please note that we are also still accepting applications for the current academic year, 2011-12, depending on availability.  Grades 1 and 3 are at capacity for this year, but you may still apply for the wait list.

Grade School Hours: 8:35am – 3:25pm (Optional days for Grades 1 and 2 allow dismissal at 12:40pm)
Early Childhood Programs (Playschool, Nursery & Kindergarten):  8:35 – 12:30 half-day or 3:25 full-day
Parent and Child: 9:30 – 11:30am meeting once per week for 10 weeks
Childcare: 8am – 6pm

A School Tour provides an overview of the curriculum from Early Childhood to Grade 8. From 9:15 – 10:15am, you will have a chance to see classes in action. Please RSVP if you would like to come for a tour.  Click here for upcoming Tour Dates.

Submit an Application with a current photo and a non-refundable $100.00 application fee.

You may send in your application in a number of ways:

  • Scan the form and supporting documents and email them to admissions@waldorfacademy.org, followed by payment of application fee via phone to our reception (416.962.6447).  We accept VISA or debit payments.
  • Fax the completed application form to 416.975.5513, followed by payment of application fee via phone to our reception (416.962.6447).  We accept VISA or debit payments.
  • Drop off the completed application form, fee and photo to our front desk.
  • Mail the completed application package, including fee, to the address listed at the bottom of this screen.
VISIT APPLY INTERVIEW REGISTER

Upon submitting an application form and fee, you will be invited for a family meeting with one or two of our faculty members in order to mutually ascertain if the school is a good fit for your child and family.

After the interview, your child will be asked to attend a three-consecutive-days’ visit in the prospective class. The visit will be followed by a phone call from our Enrollment Manager and an acceptance status letter.

Registration requires the signing of the enrollment contract, payment of the deposit, completion of the required school forms, and arrangement for tuition fee payment.
